GDU/Heckers

Anyone been up by the GDU lakes recently? Would like to give Heckers a try but not sure if the canal roads are open at all??

I can only speak for the canal road in the McClusky area and that is complete F'd!

I tried to get to heckers in early December after the first or second storm and couldn't get there then. As of Sunday night I drove by on 41 and didn't look like any plows had been down the road on the south side going to heckers. I only tried to get there the one time.

Don't even try it, unless u like to shovel a lot! Can't even get to the main boat ramp on New Johns.
