driving in and around mobridge during ice fishing tourney, i saw more roosters then people!!! bird population there is crazy!!!

Rained here for a half hour and in the last 15 minuets its switched over to snow and the wind picked up to 45-50 mph. Only good thing about rain this time of year is it made a crust on the snow we had, so at least that wont drift around........... hopefully.

Ahhhhh try again! Here is Wahpeton at the time you speak so feel free to shove these numbers anywhere you want but -10 they were not at 5:30! As for DL topped out at 2.

Highway 10 and the I-94 between Glen Ulin and Richardton were actually in good shape this morning. Highway 49 was good until about 5-6 miles south of Beulah and it was a little shitayyyy. Was very surprised considering the amount of rain we got and the temp drop.

Yeah I'm sure the NWS made those numbers up every 15 mins! Considering Bismarck went from 10 to 40 in an extremely short time including 12 degrees in one hour temps were changing fast! Wahpeton went from -20 at 5:30 a m to 0 by a little after noon so that's a pretty decent warm up.

Just south of Bismarck, saw lots of roosters yesterday out in the sunshine, shortly after lunch.

Now, 18 hours later it has rained a bunch, blew like a banshee last night, and is 30 degrees colder. Came to work at 6 this morning, and airport rd was a hockey rink.

Darn wind in ND seems to never end. People talk here about it being windy every once in a while and we tell them, this isn't windy this is just a good old breeze! That is one thing we don't miss about ND.

It’s been a pretty nice winter up until the last few weeks. It was colder than normal in October and November but then we got a really nice December and beginning of January. The last few weeks has sucked though. Plenty of snow with some rain for good measure, the wind won’t quit and now it’s going to get COLD
