Does anyone happen to have an old GPS puck for this unit laying around they would be willing to part with? Mine gives me an error that the GPS module is not responding. I have tried all of the resets and wiring options, but no luck. I would need either the LGC-12S or LGC-12W puck. :;:help
Let me know.
Thanks,

What a coincidence mine is doing the exact same thing.
Sometimes it reads, then will lose connection.
I am going to replace the locator next season anyway, so I am just letting it go in and out for this summer.

I might have one. I'll check when I get home. Can't guarantee it works, but if I recall it worked when I put it away.

I have dibs on Vollmer's puck if he's willing to part with it.:D

Johnr,
From what I found online yours may be a bad extension wire. The puck should only have about a 12" cord on it. If you can try and connect the puck directly to the unit and see if that helps, the bad news is, if it does they don't make that extension wire anymore either!!

No, dang it. I'm in Fargo and I didn't think about the logistics of this right away.

Thanks I will check it out, problem is now there is a hole in the front of the boat where that puck is at if I pull it out.

I may have one also but I won't be able to check until Thurs night or Friday when I get home from work. Are they model specific?

Yes, the pucks are somewhat model specific. The older units use the 2 I listed and the newer units use the new Point-1 antenna. What is the model of the unit you have?
