I can't tell if you're pushing buttons or just that dumb. Most teachers like most other professions are not comfortable/capable of using a gun in the event of a shooter. Way more likely for that gun to end up in the wrong hands. I would agree that a few guns in the school would shut down shooters faster but only in the hands of someone who regularly handles a gun.

Not at all, i own many. I am not a fan of the No Gun Zone but, Mandating employees to carry guns !

What he's saying is forcing people who are not comfortable with guns would be more dangerous. I think we all agree that there needs to be more armed security for our schools to neutralize threats but forcing every teacher to carry is not the answer. There would be plenty of teachers that would be who are probably already carrying everywhere else though and I think they should have the right to carry in schools. Gun free zones have proven to be a disaster. Allow responsible people to carry and you'd have far fewer deaths from these nut cases hell bent on killing as many as they can, they seek these places out because they know they will have opportunity to inflict as much damage as possible before being taken out.

Yep to many people have went bought a Glock dumped a couple mags watched American Sniper and think they are operators.

Plenty of highly trained vets that could do the job well.

There’s flaws in both of your arguments. Not every teacher is capable or should be asked to carry.
