Has anyone done a hog hunt in Oklahoma or Texas? It is my understanding night hunts are an option in Texas. Thinking of a party of four. Any suggestions?

I went hog hunting in South Carolina from a boat. We would take the boats up old slave canals and climb a tree to overlook the swamp. Those hogs are ugly as sin but very tasty. We gutted and scalded them before grilling.

Just a suggestion: You may want to use this opportunity for something different. There's an ample supply of hog up here; chase some fox instead. They're in great numbers in Texas, suitable for night hunting and have some incredible tails.

What I'm saying is if I were to go to TX or OK this winter, I'd chase ass and fish bass.
