I was once shooting carp and when i stuck a big carp he took off and snapped my string of at the end. As my string lay there on the water surface for a split second, i jumped off my boat without hesitation and was able to grab the string and hand line the carp back in saving my string, arrow, and the rest of the afternoon of carp shooting.

Depends how much liquid courage I have in me and if my phone/wallet are in my pockets.. I check roadkill waterfowl for bands so its never out of the cards!
