Hunters education classes

anyone know of any hunter education classes coming up in the minot area? I checked the G&F website and the closest one listed was in Parshall. They did have a home study class starting tonight, but thats for 16 years old and up. my buddy wants to get his kid out deer hunting this year, but he's only 11 and will be 12 before the season starts so i think he has to have the classroom course completed right?

He has to have hunters safety passed prior to applying for his youth doe tag. The deadline for youth doe tags is September 1, so he would have to complete the course by then. My daughter is in the same shoes and taking the class at the end of May and beginning of June. I thought she would miss out due to not being done by June 3rd, but NDGF informed me of the September application deadline for youth doe hunters.
