Sitka makes some nice clothing and I think it functions way better than cheap clothes but at a high price. I picked some up cheap off camofire and never regretted it once. Sitka is the best gear I have worn to date but I probably never would have experienced that if it want onsale when I decided to buy.

I also like the higher end Cabelas clothing with Goretex . It performs just as good or better than any other brand, but mainly because there is not a good substitute for goretex fabric and its performance. I used the cheap stuff for years and now I wonder why I suffered so long with subpar clothing.

I have absolutely punished my sitka gear this week in Idaho and it is holding up. It costs up front but is less than buying cheap clothing. I will say if I didn't have the knee pads in my timberline SARS might have been getting me out of the blow down.

To add wieght matters to me ALOT it is an education hard learned. For hunting were you go home every night technical fabric probably don't matter but staying out and staying alive matters. Sitka kuiu and firstlite shine. Now one last hail Mary here I come elk

What he said..... I just got back from a hunt in the Bob Marshall and lived in my kuiu stuff and first lite merino wool long johns. It makes a difference after 6-7 days in the wilderness.

At some point you are paying a hefty price for a name wether you think so or not. You can get a $50 mesh Under Armor shirt or get the exact same one made by Port Authority for $10. Some of these items are made in the same factory. I'll take five of the Port brand.

Beretta's website often has some pretty good stuff at a pretty sweet discount. Some of their stuff is also exorbitantly priced. Order 1 size larger than normal though, their stuff is sized for scrawny European men.

40% off ASAT clothing at First Lite today only. They are discontinuing the pattern, which is an awesome patter for whitetail hunting. You can get a smoking deal on some great bibs and jacket (and anything else in ASAT).

https://www.firstlite.com/sanctuary-insulated-bib-pant-sale.html

https://www.firstlite.com/woodbury-jacket-sale.html

I should mention, you won't be hiking very far in these clothes. The Woodbury can be packed in and put on once you're in position. It can take the place of a puffy and hard shell, although it's a bit bulkier, it will be warmer.

Has anyone used the True Timber gear? It seemed to be really reasonable priced, but I can't find much for reviews.

Go ahead and send me the link where I can find clothing made exactly like Sitka, FL or Kuiu for 1/5th the price?
