Not a big fan of my 225 optimax, but she sure has a nice hole shot. Up on plane in seconds, regardless of how many guys are in the boat, or amount of gear.
My old boat only had a 75 on it, and it took a while to plane, but I don't know that these would have helped, it was just under powered.
