What is everyone's go-to ice fishing line when indoors and outdoors, walleye vs. perch? I currently run Fireline, but some outside days, it seems to freeze up a lot. It works fine inside though. Lot's of different brands and types out there now to choose from and looking for a one-line does it all.

Yes I agree with using mono when fishing outdoors, I tie a mono line, on designated rods, using a modified knot to my braided line for this reason.

I have power pro and spider wire on my summer rods.
Ice I have been playing with various different line types, used to really like whatever Northland Flouro used to have for my panfish rods, have some with Clam (Sunline) and Suffix Advanced. Mix of braid, mono and flouro. To be honest I haven't found a line that I have found to be junk that I can think of right now, obviously braid is for inside heated shack or on warmer days outside. My buddies all run various different brands too.

I run whatever I buy at the time. Usually 6 pound test. If I don't like what's on, I pull it off and put something else on.

I spun up some reels late ice with the clam/sunline braid at the end of ice season this year. The line diameter impressed the heck out of me. I didn’t get a chance to use them in cold environments. If that line doesn’t work out, I’ll use those rods in heated situations.

Otherwise, I’ve been a trilene micro ice guy for longer than I can remember. 4lb on the jigging rods and 6lb on the dead sticks. I avoid gator lakes if possible, and I’ve iced more walleyes in the 20’s than I can remember. Just set your drag appropriately.
