I have a pair of the Schnee's Beartooths that have been great so far. They are a Mtn. boot with a bit more flex than a Kenetrek, so they work pretty decent for upland as well. I believe the Mountain boots are made in Italy and the pac boots are made in MT.

The Schnee store is great because not only do they have their brand, they also have most of the other high end brands, so you can try a bunch on and compare.

Your more bad ass than I am carrying a extra pair of boots. I am doing everything I can to cut weight not add more. I don’t know anyone who packs extra boots in with them unless they have horses or something
