have been out scoping with very little luck, cold weather would be welcome

Was just down there this morning. Just took the car so had to stay on the good roads so what I saw was quite limited. Saw a few random doe's along the highways and glassed one area that can be fairly good. In that spot I saw a herd of 10 doe's and fawns a couple bachelor groups one with three bucks all under 130 and the other with four two of which were small the third I couldn't tell and the fourth may have been a shooter but its hard to tell for sure since they were about a mile and half away and that streches my scope to its limits. In all I saw a little over 30 in about an hour and a half and all but one doe were mules.

Saw I little more movement last night, still nothing to get me excited for yet, ill stick to bow hunting for the time being, I have heard who's name was "drawn" for the tribal elk tags and it's seemed pretty obvious what went down , and I hear one on the hunts was absurd as to what happened, but i'm on the outside looking in, I have not heard anything about the non member bidding elk tags though, but I hear Game and fish is catching hell

To add to the bull shit flags on the elk it was my buddy who was the highest bidder. But for whatever reason they didn't bother to tell him till after the season!!!! Says right at the bottom when applying that they will contact the winners. On the list of winners it says they must contact the tribe! Combine that with that guy everyone hates getting the other bull tag and the game and fish is getting pounded!

I have thought about getting a deer license there or on Cheyenne river but decided Montana will get my money instead.

Oh their deer tags are great its this elk thing that is a fiasco. Mushballer no they actually never got ahold of him....he just happend to noticed the list was posted and his name was on it. Problem was it was Oct 25 when he saw it and the season closed on the 18th. Lots of rummers about the other bull tag and it being fixed. The funny thing is even I knew if one certain group got the tag it was going to look rigged even if it wasn't and it was them that got it.

And I sure do thank you guys and the beautiful grand river for sucking in 99% of the out of town boys down into your section of the reservation.

They were thick between cannonball and porcipine. Keeps them off the state land so it's better for me to I guess.
