Lake Cabin for Rent - East Bay, Devils Lake

I will have a lake cabin on East Bay, Devils Lake for rent starting September 1, 2017. It is a three bedroom ranch style with lake front. It will be fully furnished with washer and dryer and the essentials as far as food, dishes and linens go. It has a deck facing the lake with a picnic table, charcoal and gas grill. There is also a fire pit. Should sleep 6-8. It also has a small detached garage. Wi-fi and basic cable with a small TV in each room and one big screen in the living room.

It is 30 seconds from the East Bay boat ramp by Camp Grafton without having to get on the highway. 3 minutes from Lake Wood boat ramp, 6 minutes from Henegar North boat ramp, 4 minutes from the Casino, 4 minutes from the fish cleaning station by Ed's Bait and 5 minutes from town.

The beach has been cleaned and that is a work in progress for now. There is no dock at the moment and I am not sure we will have one by September 1. For liability reasons, we do not plan to have a boat lift.

At the moment, it is priced at $200/night (Monday - Thursday), $250/night (Friday - Sunday) and $1300/week. Because I will pay to have it cleaned between stays, there is a two night minimum.

I plan to post this in the classifies as well and hope V will forgive me for posting it here in an attempt to get the word out.

Yes it should. And yes... only that much per night for now. I need to get interest and word out and see what kind of demand there is and what the market is. I am hoping it can go up eventually. Surprisingly, there are a fair amount of these type places available. Not as many on the lake and not always this cheap. But, they are out there.

UPDATE: We had our first guests this weekend. It was a scramble to get things ready as this is a bigger project than anticipated. Regardless, things went relatively smooth. We are working on some things we got input on from our first guest(s) and the place will be improved for the next crew. Some very big thanks goes out to espringers for hooking our group up with this great place to stay. We had some last minute problems with our original lodging plans and I know you had to scramble a little to make it all happen for us. The weather was perfect for the end of the day campfires with an outstanding view of the lake. As you all can see there is plenty of room to park boats in the driveway and there is a back road right to the east bay launch! We all had an amazing time even though the fish didn't cooperate as well as we had hoped. Still caught enough for a feast that filled us all up, so no real complaints from me I'm sure we will try to stay again, and thanks again!
