Lake Sakakawea - Local nickname locations of fishing spots???

I'm headed to the Beacon, and saddle butte area Saturday, just for a day trip. Kids are jonesing for a day in the boat

you staying up there. We will be staying at Van Hook resort. Never been there before either but I will be roughing it in my co-workers 5th wheel. Not sure what site we will be located at but can let ya know later today.

It's easy to find Charging Bay. It's over there where the tractor used to be.

Heading up Sunday morning now, as my kids just got back last night from a week at summer camp. The daughter is still sleeping. Tired kids don't make good fishing partners.
Any updates on presentation, and depth would be appreciated, Beacon area
