I recently purchased the helix 7 G2 ice for the ice season. What GPS card do you recommend on using?

Lakemaster for that unit. Navionics needs work, but there are independent map makers that make good cards for lowrance.

Well it all depends on where you fish. To say one is better than the other without comparing them is a little bold, Navionics also has the mobile app which can be used. You can preview all of navionics mapping on the web app, make sure to click on the SonarChart view on the lower left

I have both on my old birds lakemaster is better however navoniacs is catching up imo plus if use in saltwater navionics is your Huckleberry. Once Garmin grooms them.

I have compared... navionics is a waste of time and money currently in ND, they have made some improvments but until they set up water level offset and 1' maps I will say lakemaster all day... hell i gave away my navionics chip this summer and have not missed it
