Had my last Lab put to rest this morning. She was full of cancer so it was for the best before it really started to hurt. I will take the pain for her, my tears have quit for now cause I think I just ran out of liquid. No more cold wet nose or dumb ass moves. No more fetch, no more fishing in the boat, no more head on my shoulder when she sensed I was feeling down. No more barking at the bank drive-up until she got her treat. Just silence until I crosse the rainbow bridge my self. But now why why why does it have to hurt so much. LB

So sorry to hear ! It’s been 2 years and I still think of my last dog. He was a joy to have hunting and in the house .
The pain doesn’t seem to go away .

I feel your pain and sadness.
You still have their wonderful thoughts and memories.

I hate this...we have a 14 1/2 year old GSP that at times acts 2 or 3 and then 14 plus shows up. I thought we were going have to do the same, but turns out it was a form of vertigo versus what I thought was a stroke. As others stated, condolences. I've had to do this once before and I'm gonna stop at two strikes.

My deepest sympathies Lbrandt. Been there too many times. The hurt we feel when they leave is the price we pay for the love they gave us. Keep that in mind during the quiet times ahead. You and bunny will be in my prayers.

I know your pain. I'm sorry you're experiencing it. God Bless you and yours.

Here's a tune for remembrance or a new pup if you decide to go that way: I feel it has relevance and a proper "tone". I'm sorry man:
