YesIs that a fisher?
Couple winters ago the neighbor was feeding cows and saw a mother with a young one. Was thinking about getting out and walking closer to look at them as he had never seen one this close before but decided to drive the tractor over. Good thing because the mother took off running for the trees and the young one decided to charge the tractor, older tractor that is not quiet and he could still hear the screaming and snarling as it clawed and bit the tractor tires. Was really glad he wasn't outside with it.Years ago, my trapping partner and I snared a male fisher in the lake ashtabula area and then a week later we snared a female fisher on the same snare line. Both were released unharmed, but the male charged us after the release. I wish I had a video of the two of us doing a horrible Arapaho war dance trying to avoid those teeth. Now I see lots of trail cam pics of fishers all along the sheyenne. There are way more out there than most believe. Vicious and totally fearless little bastages I can assure you. Think 10 lb honey badger.
