When my niece passed away at a young age, the adage of "we should never have to bury our young" was spoken by many. So sorry for your loss....prayers being sent.

So very sorry for your loss. We lost our 16 month old grandson three years ago. The personal loss you feel is devastating, and having to watch and guide your child through this is overwhelming. Lean on each other, lean on your church family if you have one. Your true and faithful friends will be there for you. Anger is part of grieving and the rage will come. Let it, but let the fact you got to spend 4 months with a pretty cool little guy wash that anger away. Grandkids are a gift. He will ALWAYS be with you, and you will always be with him. God bless and watch over all of you.

Don't know what to say. Devastating for you, but even more so for the parents. I think I worried about the same thing from the time I learned we were expecting until today, and forward from here. Every day is a gift. Treasure the number you had. Be there for your child and spouse. I can't even imagine what they're going through.
