I can't honestly say that I've noticed a big difference with rattlers but I might have to break out the hot glue gun and play around. Something that active should sound like a drumroll.

It's going to be a fun summer, Lots of new things to try but in the end I'd bet that a plain old bottom bouncer with a spinner and half a crawler or a leech under a bobber will outfish the best of them.

I was afraid of that since they had been out a couple of years already and I had never heard of them . Like the old saying goes, If it seems too good to be true is usually is. I still feel like blowing 20 bucks or so on a few just to play with them. Knowing me I will end up building some contraption out of them with a spinner blade and rattles and I won't get a bite on it .

I fish these with a sweep pause, not possibe with a spinner rig. On the pause the little guy slowly floats up.

I bought a few last summer because my brother had something similar but with a bigger bill and a lot more wobble. It really nailed them, then he lost it and never seen one like it since. I caught fish on the Lil' guy last summer. I like it for my 2nd rod when running bb with spinner. I use it for the rod I'm not holding on too, since it has a nice floater, it won't snag as much. One day, the Lil'guy got 4 of my five....one day. But seemed to always catch at least one if not two of my limit when I ran BB.

Used them last summer while using a spinner on the other rods. Spinners out fished them 4-1. But I have heard these are better used during the transition from cold water lindy rigging to warm water spinners. They fit somewhere in the middle.

They also came out with a smaller version this year. I didn't have much luck with the bigger ones last year but will try the smaller version because I think it might fit a little better into the structure and depth I like to fish most. I feel the larger version might be better suited to crank bait trolling type situations and depths, which is not in my wheelhouse.

Anyone try one of these yet. At three for five dollars they look interesting. Rowdie is this possibly the one your brother had?

I have used them for a couple summers with limited success. I did get a few of the new smaller ones to see if they will work any better.

I just pick up some of the Cabelas version of these called the walleye-a-plug. Havent heard of anyone catching much with them on Sak. but maybe I'll have better luck.

That's the cabelas a plug. The reviews on it are good save one that apparently got one that the hole through didn't go all the way.
