On a somewhat related note, I've been watching the TV show Forged in Fire. Pretty cool show with the knives these guys make. The final challenge is always an iconic blade from history and some of them are very complicated. The talent these guys show in forging some of those blades is amazing and the testing of the blades is fun to watch. I think about how they made these blades in ancient times without modern tools. Those guys must have been some badasses.

This makes me feel like a total pussy:

troll the country railroad crossings and there's almost always chunks laying around that are clearly dangerous and need removal before someone gets hurt

I prefer a very large vice/anvil combo

Make sure you smile pretty for the camera and :;:howdy!

Wetter,
I have a piece about 18" long you can have. Can't remember where i got it. :;:smokin It is heavy and probably needs to be cut. I have a small 6" one that I use when I need it.

OK - that's an ###load of grinding/cutting.

I think I'd rather drop a fifty on a 55lb anvil at Menards or some such.

WTF are you gays using these for?

I have never seen a need for such an item, I like to get hammered, but don't know what you guys would be hammering to the point of needing such device.

Fun with tannerite or lots of gun powder possibly. Lots and lots of anvil shooting videos to keep you entertained for hours and hours lol.

Some fellas did this last summer up here.........good reason to drink a couple beers. Estimated a 100 anvil went about 250 feet up. Black powder is fun.
