I want to put drop axle on my 6x14 single axle enclosed trailer and pimp it into an all purpose hunting/fishing shack/toy hauler/utility trailer. I would like to extend the frame on front for a storage box and a drop Tongue and put air lift on it with semi bags to lower ad raise it for fishing. Beating my head against the wall trying to figure out what would be a simple way to do it without a ton of steel and welding and extra weight, Would have a pin to drop in for transport incase it lost air. I have everything I need to do it with semi air bags except for a good design. Any fabricators out there or know someone that could tackle the job ?

The small cab air bags should work for that, no need for the big suspension bags. Any peterbilt or KW dealer should have them on hand. I would tee the air lines and put a valve in that you could hook a small hand pump up to. That way you don't have to worry about condensation from an air compressor freezing airlines not allowing you to inflate/deflate the bags.

Go look at one at American truck and trailer in Minot (the old guys from Prairie truck equipment) They do it all the time. Their system is very similar to a Zack shack.

call up glens welding and trailer in bismarck. they might be able to help you better

Another recommendation for glens. I worked there for 5 or 6 years, and they can do just about anything if you're willing to spend the $$$.

Do they make air lift/Air ride trailers ? They don't have a website, I'll have to give these guys a call and drive down there. Bismarck is stretching it for miles and out of the way for most of my travels but I make it to Fargo/GF area quite a bit. Was hoping o find something out that way.
