So then what is the end result of say someone giving chronic bad rep or some giving bad rep and signing someone elses name?

I am curious why the rep system will still not work as intended if a name is attached Vollmer. Given the context of what we have now seen in some of the comment included in the bad rep, certainly it seems as if a name should be attached if people are going to comment in such a manner. At least I give lunk credit for having the balls to sign his name.

It will depend on the severity. I can completely revoke a person's ability to give rep, if needed. Limit their access to site features. It really all depends.

If giving rep was not anonymous, we all know what would happen. New people would be afraid to use it. Giant "Bad Rep Wars" would happen. Groups of folks vs groups of folks. Earth would spin backwards. Lycan's avatar would be sexy. And the wife would start giving me sex daily. Madness!

I'd venture it would cut down on the "I disagree with you but instead of posting a counter point, I'll just neg rep you anonymously" people. Folks being true dipshits will still get neg rep cuz it's the right thing to do.... if that makes sense
