Lund windshield replacement

I tried the Rain-X "window wash fluid" about 6-7 years ago when it was all the rage.

At first it seems awesome - until you learn that it slowly but surely combines with bug grunge to form a water repellent "haze" mess that wash fluid or rain have a hard time getting off.

Sort of like adding vanilla pudding to car wax. Repels water great... but looks like crapola.

Contact BobKat on Fishing Buddy or here, I don't see him on here often though. He just recently had the driver's side on his Lund smashed by a flying rock. Not sure if he's fixed it yet, but the two of you may be able to work together on a mutually agreeable one full winshield deal for people who need only half.

That means I have to log in to fbo. My dad might just have a side console from now on if that is what's needed.

here is an email directly from Taylor Made I got last winter. I think you could get one direct from them.

Thank you for your inquiry. Taylor Made does not reference the boat description and in order to check availability of the windshield, we will need additional information to research.

If the glass on the windshield panels say "TAYLOR" then you will need to call the original boat manufacturer (Lund) with your hull number and request the "TAYLOR MADE" windshield part number. With the "Taylor" windshield part number we can research the windshield and get back to you.

If the glass does not say "TAYLOR", then we can only offer you a full custom replacement windshield. We will then need photos sent to us of the boat and of the original windshield so that we can send you additional information for making the replacement.
