Nothing has changed. An officer or senior NCO sends young men into harms way. They get the Bronze Star and the guys actually in the minefield get an atta boy downgraded to a pat on the back. They can do whatever they want at times discipline wise, to the point of ruining an 18 year old kids future for completely stupid shit. The big green weenie is always looking for a nice warm place to go.
