My question is , how far do they reach and does anyone around Devils Lake monitor them in case of emergency ? The only place Iv'e ever heard any chatter is at Sakakawea from Salmon fishers. I'm tired of looking at the big antenna on my boat and thinking it's about time to remove it and pull the radio if they are obsolete. I'm guessing cell phones made them obsolete around ND ?
