Maybe the poorest numbers of waterfowl I’ve seen in W SD in my hunting lifetime. Have heard NE SD has great numbers. Pretty wild early December weather coming too!

Sure seems SD is the place to be a waterfowler any more. Almost seems rare that the birds aren't piled up there for all of November anymore.

Season closes this weekend east of 83 and they will have ducks around for a while.

Was in Fargo Thanksgiving saw lots of big honkers in big pond behind brother in laws house by golf course and cut corn fields right there too. Tame as hell too.

Ducks didn’t show but the amount of specks and snows was way more than we seen yesterday. Would have put out way more speck decoys. It was fun we saw a lot of birds just didn’t want to finish all the way. There was a slight breeze haha.

Always good time we are up by lake Sak in ND was good time they were loaded thick in the area.

Went to bismark on sunday alot of geese south of mandan. Next Saturday is our last day of the year for honkers

ive never understood why nd has different closing dates for canadian geese IE high plains unit.

They take days away from the early season in the MO River zone and add them onto the end.

More geese here then ive ever seen before, still big wads of snows too.

Season ended last Saturday here for geese and we are still covered up. Honks , snows, and specks.
