I’m at my cabin at Douglas bay and it was a non-stop fight of snows, specks, and cranes going southeast today. Tons of birds moving. From about 9:00 am to 2:00 there were flocks visible literally the entire time.
I hope the boy gets his doe Friday and I maybe get lucky and shot a nice basket rack buck the same day. We'll be done, have a day to get everything butchered, and then I plan on duck hunting as many days as possible until the end of the season.
Definitely was some movement yesterday, saw my first substantial feed (>2000) of snows (of course an NR plate parked watching them) in the 94 corridor and quite a few V's when you looked around the horizon. Still no weather predicted for the next 10+ days even well up into Saskatchewan so hard to know how this will progress.
