Anybody seeing any migration yet? There are alot of little canadas and a few snows in the NW.Should get a good push this week.
I would ask Dean Nelson, he'll know.
I like the optimism, but the snow is falling in the extreme SW part of SK and mostly very heavy rain elsewhere. Not to mention its not nearly cold enough to freeze anything and given the warm ground temps its snow they can feed right through and will likely be gone quick. I think we'll see some new birds but not anything even close to a big push.I know canada is getting alot of snow now, with the food being covered up the birds should be headed our way.
We really had a good hunt last Saturday and Sunday. Limited on mallards and honkers both days. They were fresh birds to area. Cant claim I know where they came from but my area (northeast SD) definitely got a fresh push from somewhere. Did see few flocks of lessers too.
