The bass fishing is excellent if you know what to look for. Rock creek bay in front of the cabins is sheltered from the wind and loaded with bass. If I were to bass fish MN, Id do Rainy River/Lake for smallmouth. Mill Lacs is also a big bass lake but walleye are apparently a protected endangered species there. For largemouth, Id pick the lake chains anywhere between Detroit Lakes and Alexandria. Many of those lakes are connected that smaller boats can get through. Those backwaters are loaded with largemouth. But I havent fished there since the 90s and MN has become way more crowded since.</p></blockquote><p></p>
