I like 'em. Kinda muggy and overcast, not too warm this morning. No mosquitos. Tax dollars put to good use!

I kinda prefer them cool and Krispy with the sun breaking in clear horizon.

Getting pretty tired of the smokey haze. However, it likely attributed to the briskness of the air this morning. I like a brisk morning. You get a pass this time, Canada.

Sawyer,
I am also getting tired of the smog haze. This morning did have a nice crisp feel to it which I love. I like summer, but I love September mornings the best. Crisp when you wake up and mid 70's daytime highs. That's perfection in my books.

I should get out of bed early one day and try to watch the sun come up on the water.

Oh boy, it's a good'n today. Absolutely beautiful. How could anybody want to live anywhere in the world but right here smack in the middle of this continent?

sunset.jpgHere is a sunrise picture I took a couple years ago while camping at Fort Stevenson. Wanted to share with the younger people that think sleeping in is better than seeing one of these!

I prefer being on the water just before the sun comes up, snapping a picture or two when it does get airborne and then getting the bait out for some action. Sometimes if i'm too early, i'll
get the bait out first but that can screw up the timing of a photo op or two with biting fish.....

I'm one of them young people that likes to get up early and be the first to the ramp. I don't even call my father in law before 10 am. He's the "evening bite" kinda guy.

Sure beats the shit out of walking up to an office building on a fine September morning. Then again, come January I'll be saying, "sure beats the shit out of turning pipe" as I walk into my climate-controlled cubicle utopia.

Holy smokes, good'n today. Calm and 51 F. You sure it's not time to hunt yet?
