Thats a big deal to up and move like that. I'd seriously go spend a week out there just to get a feel for the town. I worked there this summer for about three weeks and thought it was a crap hole. Honest opinion. A lot of outsiders have moved into this town and it no longer had that ND feel. JMO

Spend a week in January if you can take the cold and wind :;:cheers, then come back in July for the skeeters. Pretty good spot for hunting and fishing. You won't see the snow levels that you do in the east. Snowmobiling is pretty much trailer to the mountains as rocks are more common than skeeters. Not sure what the adult entertainment transformed into after the city closed them.

There's plenty of good people there, good jobs and nice places. There are also idiots, morons, crooks and dipshits. Poor housing and good housing, eyesores and such; just like everywhere else. If you want to get involved in the town and surrounding area you will enjoy it. If slower and more laid back, take things in from the sidelines is your cup of tea then maybe not.

One thing if you do move out west you will have a few people on here that you will be able to talk with and maybe hunt/fish with. That is what sucks if you move someplace and don't know anyone there.
Another good thing is not as many liberals living in the western half or even 2/3 of ND. :;:rockit:;:thumbsup:;:cheers
