Muskie through the ice

Was out on Audabon yesterday afternoon jumping around looking for fish when this guy slammed my lure in about 33ft of water. I know they've stocked the lake with them, just never thought I'd catch one through the ice! I released her right after the pictures, didn't measure it but it was about as long as the 28" rod I was using. Wish I could have got a better pic with it but I was by myself. Thought it was pretty cool!

Has anyone every tried catching them through the ice on New Johns? any sucess?, or how bout right at ice off,,,
