Hope them dirtymike customs work out for him.

You need to have a color called the f-shack. Imagine huff up at the podium getting asked what he used to win. Dirty Mike's F-shack would be an epic response.

couple of artifical only ND guys leading the pack. I believe those two fellas signed a contract NOT to use any live bait in their fishing tournaments this year.. Way to go Corey and Troy!!

57lbs mid august on devils is a huge weight. Low 40's this time of year is a big basket. Congrats to the top finishers, those were some impressive weights

A 35# bag is beyond impressive - especially in August. Congrats to them as well. This place is a fisherman's dream right now. Hundreds of spots, hundreds of techniques, thousands of acres and just not enough time to check it all out.

Someone on 'the other' website claimed some of the leaders didn't follow the boundaries. I'm not sure why you would have any, maybe they were mistaken, but they sounded upset.

Very impressive 10 fish!

How many teams fish day 3?

Great fun, had a blast. Didn't finish where I wanted to but thats fishing. The second place team ran a small boat to pelican and pushed it over the old 281 with 2 x 4's. Totally legal as the rules are any waters of the lake accessible by boat from the Grahms launch with out touching shore.

I saw the spot they crossed, local knowledge is tough to beat.

I pushed the shallow bite and fell back on rigging for my plan B. On my second day I found fish stacked on a point in 25 FOW. We lead cored them and tried to slow death them. Only pulled small fish ( the story of my prefish ) Until...... I ripped a Shiver minnow through them.

Second day of the tourney we didn't have a fish in the box until 2:00. We found the point fish and caught at least 20 fish in 30 min. it was nuts. When my partner netted my 5.05 # big fish I almost soiled myself.

I believe the tourney was won off deep transitions ROCK I bet 3K worth of jigging raps were left in the lake by 76 teams.

I will fish another MWC I had fun, the Devil is a great lake that always has a secret.

Congrats to Troy and Corey !! What a day they had first day, they were back at the ramp at 10:00 AM too. I am very excited to see the video they have from the event.

White bass are going nuts we boated more than 30 during the tourney and the pike were not too terrible but did provide some carnage.

Broke 3 rods and lost a shipload of gear.

Thanks for the support guys !!!!

Yes it is an epic bag. That one day total would about win a 2 day tourney on Sak.

They will never come to Sak. Too tough and not sexy enough (fishing and facilities) for them. I really would love to see it though. But Devils is a place I have to start fishing one of these years.

They will make it to sakakwea. Let the fish catch up to the forage and the lake goes back in the books as a top 10. Pwt made both sak and peck
