I do think it would be fun to have regional NDA clubs that are pretty low key and informal. Something along the lines of "Hey guys! Thinking of hitting Ashtabula on Saturday. Bringing No. 1 son, a bucket of minnows and plenty of Blue Num Nums. Anyone who wants to join, feel free!"

I'd be down for that.

0600: loaded tacvan and headed out to South Woodhaven
0645: reached final destination after stop at convenience store for coffee and no carb snacks, made one detour back to house forgot wallet
0715: set up complete two holes chiseled. Pole#1 : quick strike rig with smelt / pole#2: 1/4oz pink jig with white twister tail tipped with minnow
0725: no luck yet thought staring hard at poles willing fish to bite
0735: this is the dead sea no bites
0737: this is getting old need to … wait rod tip moved possible bite
0738: false alarm leg bummed rod
0740: god damn fish … finished coffee…cold starting to set in
0747: still staring at holes thought I saw movement , retrieved AR from tacvan unloaded 1 clip into 1[SUP]st[/SUP] hole…
0749: can’t feel fingers cold has really set in fuck this…packed up heading home…

Ha same here two different times first time forgot key to the boat had to drive back to grand forks from devils lake, second forgot vexilar and one boot back to grand forks from devils

I winter fish Skunk, and sometimes Indian Creek.
I would be more than happy to host a fishing outing, or buy a round of ice cold busch lights at a get together to talk about fishing, and how awesome I am at it.
