I understand the initial idea of having negative reps but after the whole rep party nonsense it kind of threw the whole point of negative reps out the window. I have never and would never give a negative rep because to me it's such a ridiculous thought that someone would say "I don't like what you said" or "you hurt my feelings" through a private message, whether it's signed or not. I guess I was brought up the old school way of hashing shit out in the open, or better yet in person. Seems to me that some have gone the "pussification" route and would rather be passive aggressive because confrontation makes them uncomfortable.

If I cared about getting a negative rep I wouldn't post my opinion or viewpoint here because most of the time I know before I post that quite a few people on here won't like or agree with some of my views. I am who I am and don't care if people like what I say or how I say it in real life or on nda. Just the way I see things. Negative rep away if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy. To each their own I guess.

As Ive stated before, personally Id like to see it disabled. Just causes hard feelings and can be used by groups to gang up on an individual they dont like. Might be good on a less moderated site, but this one is relatively well moderated so I think it causes more harm than good.

I see people are using 'negs' to get under others skin in my epic TOBY thread.

Even if I wanted to berate somebody, I could not(There is a limit and it is easily distinguished from fraudulent activity). Volmer made a good system of checks and balances. Kudos.

I tried giving Lycan positive rep for shits and giggles and it told me I had to spread my rep around before giving any more to lycan.

It seems the site is designed to make one a rep slut spreading it around and all that. It has been months since lycan got a good rep and I still gotta spread it around first.
