"NO" can be instilled at close range at this age. IMHO, "NO/COME" are <em><strong>the</strong></em> most important commands and can be utilized together.  Checkcords are fine but lack the immediacy of a training collar IMHO.  </p><p></p><p>I type this as I've effed it all up and got a dog killed in front of my kids the day after Christmas.</p></blockquote><p></p>
