Visiting the end of July. Looking for any tips I can get for catching pike and walleye

Should be easy to put you on some Pike. You may have to travel a few miles to do it. The walleye can be just a tad more tricky.
do you have a boat or bank fishing?

Late July I like offshore humps that top out at 6-10 feet, preferably with good weed growth on top. Fish the top early and late, and off the edges midday. Are you looking for numbers or size? Anything bright and flashy will catch small to medium pike if they're there. Spoons, spinnerbaits, lipless cranks, big swimbaits, etc. I throw 10-14 inch flies for the big gals.
