Playing a bunch of losers in the regular season gets you kicked in the teeth in the playoffs. The Rams, 49ers and Seahawks are better for playing each other. The Bills and Patriots are better for playing each other. Saying you want an easier schedule is the same bullshit as more losses equals higher draft picks. This life long Vikings fan is pretty happy with the 9-8 record and going 4-2 in the division, all things considered for this season.

Right! I've always lived by the saying "to be the best, you have to beat the rest". You don't really know where you stand until you take on all challengers. Line them up and knock them down, or get yourself back to work on why you just lost your last match/game/opportunity.

The NFC North and Vikings did play a bunch of losers last year. That is how they squeezed three teams into the playoffs and why they went 1-3 in the post season. Throw out the Packers, Lions, Rams and Texans and the Vikings other eleven opponents lost 110 games. Their overall opponent winning percentage, including the teams with winning records, was .474. If iron sharpens iron, last years NFC North was plastic chipping plastic. It was fun to watch though.

Thats why i said jj missed out on a easier schedule last year compared to this year, thanks for the numbers it puts things into perspective. The vikes until they get rid of those weak links in the head office will only be a .500 team with no Lombardi

All I get out of that is JJ was 6-4 in the ten games he played against a more difficult schedule this year. His offseason training should include a little toughening up stuff...
