Smoked for 35 years, quit March 24, 2011. I don't know how people can even afford to smoke these days. I was just about a pack/day, more when drinking. Last carton I bought was $42 and change.

The other guy said nic keeps you from getting parkinsons.

other factor is not doing a life sentence for killing fucking idiots at work. Easier just to get a can of pouches
My dad chewed Cope and Skoal for years. He is in nursing home with Parkinson's and Dementia. Granted I am sure there are many other factors that go into things but Nic doesn't guarantee prevention.
I finally quite chewing in Oct (3rd attempt in 15yrs), granted I am using nic gum at about 3-4 4mg pieces per day but keep thinking i can probably easily mix in regular gum and barely notice.

Ive never done nicotine, but figured it would be interesting to play with, so I ordered some concentrate and tried 7mg orally yesterday... made me feel a little loopy and unable to concentrate, so Im thinking I dont get the attraction. If anyone is trying to quit smokes/vape, buying nic in this form is WAY cheaper than pouches/gum over time. You just wanna be carefully to dilute it properly, or you risk OD. Full strength its about 14mg / drop.

Quitting nicotine was brutal for me. I quit chewing a few years ago, and it took me MONTHS to shake the cravings.
I quit smoking 20 years ago but used patches for the first week to help with the cravings. But the habit part was easily a good year around those times when I would ritually light up. I quit because I watched my grandmother die of emphysema and bronchitis watching her struggle to breathe for years being put on oxygen and eventually an enibilizer to help open up her damaged lungs so she could get more oxygen was disheartening. The big shocker though was when she was on her death bed all doped up foaming from the mouth and having an unlit cigarette between her 2 fingers was the deciding factor. If the government really wanted to have an anti drug anything video to show kids they should kids those videos of what it will be like to see someone die of a drug that kills you.

Ya I was being sarcastic some one posted an article about the vid and it said something in there about how it prevents it.

According to the FDA, tobacco, smoking, and vaping cause cancer and health problems. Not nicotine. There are now nicotine alternatives that don’t include tobacco, vaping or smoking.

Do not give it to kids as stimulants negatively affect neurological development and the frontal lobe isn’t fully developed until your early twenties (a little sooner for gals).

Also, hello everyone! It’s been a couple years.

I am hoping that is what he meant. Otherwise the avoidance will continue
