and wondered what everyone thought about rebates for ammo purchase of non lead ammo used on wildlife refuges.

I think there’s that initial push needed to get folks to switch. Once a few guys know their neighbor shot deer with non toxic bullets they’ll be more inclined.

We’d likely be surprised by the lead poisoning of scavengers. My next loads will be Barnes TSX.

Seems to not be hurting the bald eagles as they are every where now. Used to be cool just to see one now they are like vultures just hanging out waiting to steal shit you shoot

Non tox is already required in waterfowl so why the hell would you get a rebate for that

I prefer copper bullets for edible critters, but I'm a solid 'no' on the government trying to sway any market by throwing money at it.

The "we fund dumber shit" attitude is part of how we got to the point where we're funding 8 billion different dumb ideas. How about I get to keep more of my money, and we let the free market decide?
