The North Dakota Sporting Spaniel Clun will be holding its annual ENGLISH COCKER field trial this weekend Friday through Sunday, with dogs enetered in several categories, puppies (up to 2 years) amauteur trained and pro trained open classes. Close to 50 dogs entered, and this field trial draws dogs and trainers from all over the USA and Canada.
Come and watch some excellent upland dogs working, with water tests each day of course. Very friendly bunch of trainers, amateur and pro, and most are very amenable for questions, advice and other info.
To find the trial, drive south on the paved road from Menoken till you see signs or traffic, then just follow.
The following weekend, the Club will host its annual ENGLISH SPRINGER Field Trial in the same area. Similar first class Dogs and trainers, only the dogs will be one size larger. Same wagging tails and floppy ears, though.
