Just like you laughed and called me crazy when things were going good I said the industry won't support high oil prices very long. I take it you are too young to remember the days when they filled the mud tanks with tooling and cut new rigs into pieces and hauled them to Porter Brothers.
We import more than half of the oil we consume in the US.
For once, (Don't call me an obama lover) I agree with Obama on his decision against the Keystone XL, He just made up a different reason rather than to tell it the way it is, Maybe that was a good thing. We all read and hear about Bakken this and Bakken that but when you look at the big picture it's simple economics of supply and demand, We just get caught up in all the hype here in ND.

Yea, Nobody was a bold statement in today's times, But give it a few years or one more nasty train wreck whichever comes first. Those links should open your eyes to your surroundings. North Dakota best be building refineries and pipelibes of our own because nobody else is going to take care of us.
