Certain units are for shooting whatever you can. Others you eat tag soup sometimes. Even if it's a hard-to-draw unit. That's how big animals are grown...

Hopefully he makes it another year so that other g2 can lengthen out like the other. Definitely looks nice and heavy, good on you for passing.

Quite honestly, that's not even a giant in ND. Barely comes out to his ears which puts him in the 21" category. Definitely no back fork on the left and maybe not even on the right. If you want to shoot a big one, pass. If you just want to shoot a deer, pull the trigger.

How much time would I have left to hunt if I pass on him?

I like shooting nice deer as much as the next guy, but if it's the last day of the last weekend, tag soup sucks.

Well did'nt pull the trigger but was a relaxing tripoutput (2).jpgHad an elk tag too,no luck,rancher said guyz shot 27 elk opening weekend.
