Think how much law enforcement would appear to have come along in finding these people. Pedophilia and its ugly cousin child porn have seen an unbelievable upwards trend in news articles over the past 10-20 years. It used to be when I'd see an article on either, I'd think "wow, glad they got the SOB". Nowadays it's in the news so frequently it's almost not surprising.

Maybe I just wasn't paying as much attention 20 years ago, but there sure seems to be an upward trend in at least the bastards getting caught.

Agree!! Generally steer clear of political threads but this SOB should never see the light of day again. One of the good ol' boys on senate appropriations and now a convicted pedophile! and can't even abide by his house arrest conditions for 1 week. Lenient sentencing... Bull $hit!

I feel bad for the victims. Some are his own family . How would you like to be related to this POS ? He is someone's husband , dad ,grandpa and whatever. Not sure how I'd react if I was in those shoes but if he was my old man I'd most likely take him behind the woodshed and make him cry.

Easy. He’s a politician. They’re above the law and know it. Someone up the thread was wondering if he used tax payer dollars to diddle little boys, of course he did, he is literally being paid by tax payers.

I'm not talking about just him. Pedophiles in general. How can any sexual crime against a child be punished by months or a handful of years? I'm apalled by the short sentences handed out.

Say a short video of Donut Operator telling a story where some murder with a life sentence got moved from a max pen to a different one that had kid diddlers. Well one decided to lip off to him repeatedly (the picture of the murder strikes me as someone not to mess with myself) and he took another inmates cane and beat him to death, he was going across the jail to go turn himself in and in passing came across another one and figured what the heck may as well knock this another one off too so when he turned himself in he let them know he killed two other inmates. The murder has not had any actions taken against him yet.
