Nope. Just went off on an alternate tangent so as to fit in line with all the other forum topics. We are a collective group from different backgrounds but we all have add.
Looks like I'll be in town this weekend so beers are to be had. If you want to stop over and help build a front landing (tiny deck) on my house, feel free.
i saw the lovable losers uniforms at the mandan complex i believe it was. i was not playing but attended many games of family and friends. Holy shit was it windy...........
yes it was very windy! lovable losers lost in the first round to a team we probably should have beaten but ended up with a consolation championship trophy in rec 3 so that wasnt so bad for the first year we have been up in that division, next year hopefully itll be a better ending! but we will be in different jerseys next year, it is time to upgrade the ole lovable losers and next year we will be called the turkeys.. haha my team is made up of a bunch of real goofballs...
We won our first game, lost our second game to the team that took 2nd place in Rec 2. We just couldn't hit in our second game. Didn't score a run, but I only walked 3 batters in two games of pitching, so that was a win for me.
my only complaint of the whole tournament is that those field are like diving on sand paper, as a shortstop who has to dive quite a bit, my elbows and knees and absolutely just scrapped down like hamburger, getting in and working those fields up a bit then dragging them before the tourney would do wonders i would bet.... uff dah!
fields werent in as good of shape as past years. wouldnt have hurt to water the infield between games to keep the dust down. heard plenty of complaints from spectators who inhaled more agriline than they cared too. had a good tourney. came up short against the saskatchewan crush in the finale but ill take 2nd. damn canucks.
