Keep the political threads in the politics section.
There are very few outdoor sites that allow political banter AT ALL.
It has always been allowed here, with the agreement that those conversations would happen in the politics section.

Please adhere to that going forward.

Are there consequences for not following the directive? Not asking to be a jerk, asking because folks don't seem able to care enough to follow through sometimes (a lot of times).

I've been guilty and will pay closer attention to it. Hope others do as well.
