Pooping sparrows need to go

Anybody have a good way to get rid of sparrows in a shop that crap all over everything? Google it and all I get is some super sonic sound thing. How about something where they just die.

Some of my fondest memories as a young kid on my Grandparents farm was arming myself with a BB gun and a flashlight, and going into the barns at night. Grandpa had to put a 1 pump limit on the BB gun though, a few to many vent holes in the top of the quonset.

We used to have a farmer that would stick the end of a hose from an anhydrous ammonia tank into the door of his Quonset, and turn the valve on for a short while. He said it kept the birds out for quit a while afterwards. :gotone:

I would think the smell of anhydrous would keep everything and everybody out for quite a while.
Maybe start a vehicle and let it run for awhile, might gas them out.

Yep if you can make sure that no none targets will get into it a little poisoned bait can be very effective. Just remember that the dead birds may by poisonous as well for pets so be careful.

Can you still get furadan? Years ago canola was treated with it. Spilled some cleaning out drills in yard. Next day my mom asked why there was so many dead birds around. Oops.
