Pulling the SD card

Based on my computer knowledge I can already tell I will need help with this. I want to pull the SD card from my hummingbird and save it to my computer , When I plug it into the computer will it automatically go to a program/map ? I don't want to mess up an erase what I have.

Does your unit carry two cards you should be able to save your pts to the other card

Only one SD slot that I know of , I'll have to bring it in and look at it. Do you use a regular picture view program to open and view the same as a regular camera SD card ? I'm probably overthinking this.
