My buddies and I decided to take the cow licenses. We are all in our 70’s. If we quit trying for the bulls that increases the odds for younger folks. Same with deer. They all taste the same.

I’m in my early 60’s and have had my cow elk and cow moose license. I have never looked back and wished I hadn’t gone that way. I enjoyed every aspect of both hunts. I would do it again in a heartbeat if I could. Didn’t have to buy beef those years which was real nice .

We filled our tags a few years ago. Two of us are really glad we did because of our health. Now would be virtually impossible.
