Do you have a drain in this location? Every year in July, August, Sept I have location that yellow up much faster than other. 1 is a sump field, other is a septic field. They take the water away and they yellow up quick.

Roger is stoned

Do you really believe that?!! He is a fine actor and Ann Margaret is his mother. Don't get all weird here. Ann is obviously drinking club soda. Damn I love me some Ann Margaret.

Good luck figuring this out. Could be many things causing this. First thing I would do is find a person that knows grass and soil, and ask them to come and look at it. That will be easier on your brain. Could be as simple as a low spot that the water settles in when watering, and the nutrients leach out faster then the rest of your yard, or the soil is not letting the water get away fast enough. Plus a 100 different other things that could be the problem. GOOD LUCK figuring this out.

Looks like a soils or nutrient issue. Send a sample into the local county agent and have them check it out.

Are you trying to say you've been defecating on or within the Earth?! 'Cause that's sure as hell what it sounds like.

it could be the angle of the sun reflecting off your window and shining on that spot on the grass. Every time this time of year the angle of the sun is the same off of your window. Happens in my yard but i figured it out!! JK

Any chance there ever was a tree growing in that spot? My mother had a couple of trees dug out of her lawn one time and for years after that the spots where the trees had been did the same thing late in the summer. I think it came from the old roots rotting underground that caused a fungus in the soil. Took many years before it cleared up for good.
